CRUISE FOR CANCER '08 CRUISE DETAILS

As mentioned on the home page, The Cruise For Cancer was a huge success with 185 cars and raising $4100 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation Of Australia.

A raffle was held on the day with some really good prizes won.

CRUISE EVENT STICKERS.

As you can imagine, any event where car enthusiast are in the public eye, is going to draw some negative attention.

To reduce the amount of negative attention, the Cruise For Cancer is working in a positive way with the local councils and local police regions to ensure that there is minimal hassles to the Cruise For Cancer '08 and its entrants.

This is where the cruise entrant sticker comes in. The cruise entrant sticker, when attached to the car, is a way of the police and other authorities of identifying you are part of the Cruise For Cancer '08.

Cruise Event stickers will be given to you when you register, please put them on your car.

Police presence

The N.S.W. Police are actively involved in the Cruise For Cancer '08. Members of the Police (both on and off duty) have been invited to participate in the Cruise For Cancer.

Whilst we expect it never happens, in the event where an entrant is behaving or driving in an unsafe or illegal manner, The Cruise For Cancer officials have every right to report them to police and ask them to take no further part in the Cruise.

It is problems like this that will make it harder for car enthusiasts to hold cruises in the future.
